Our Telehealth Exercise Physiology service provides targeted exercise therapy to you at home, work, or wherever you are. At Living Energy Pilates and Exercise Physiology, we offer high-quality Telehealth services for customers in remote or regional locations who are unwilling or unable to travel.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to access health care and exercise services remotely and manage your health. It provides you with the ability to still receive specialist health care without the need to travel.

Are Telehealth services rebateable?

As of 30 March 2020, Medicare will bulk bill MBS items delivered via telehealth and DVA card holders are able to access private Exercise Physiology sessions via telehealth. Find out more about Medicare referred services and eligible conditions. Currently only the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), State Inusrance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and WorkCover QLD recognises telehealth as an alternative method of delivering therapy supports for eligible clients.

Private Health Insurance Rebates for Telehealth

Some private health insurers are offering rebates for Telehealth Exercise Physiology. We can service clients anywhere in the world. However we are physically located in the north east of Melbourne in the suburb of Macleod. You are always welcome to drop in and see us.

Which services are available via Telehealth?

Living Energy currently offers all Initial and Follow Up Exercise Physiology Consultations sessions via Telehealth. This includes the physical assessment of conditions, supervision of exercise sessions, as well as consultations for exercise advice and progression of home exercise programs. As well as improve general health and fitness, we are able to manage chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Arthritis and Osteoporosis with Telehealth sessions. Our Exercise Physiologists specialising in Pregnancy, Neurological conditions and Athlete Performance are also available for Telehealth appointments.
