WHY STUDIO PILATES?
The Pilates Studio environment is an ideal setting for achieving your health goals and has traditionally been used for rehabilitation from a range of injuries. Our instructors provide expert guidance and supervision for the duration of your session. Every Pilates movement must be performed with precision and quality to ensure you get maximum benefit from your tailored program.
Pilates Studio Sessions are excellent for improving core strength, muscle tone, fitness, posture, balance, general strength and flexibility. All sessions run for 1 hour and are by appointment only. It is recommended that you wear loose comfortable exercise clothing that enables you to move freely, and bring a water bottle to sip during the session. Footwear is not worn in the Studio, however in the interests of hygiene, clean socks are required.

Studio Pilates sessions are available the following times:
Monday to Thursday between 7am and 9pm,
Fridays and Saturdays 7am to 1pm
DESCRIPTION OF SESSION TYPES
Initial Assessment : All of our clients, regardless of injury or fitness level, begin their Studio Pilates experience with an Initial Assessment so that the ideal tailored program can be developed to meet their needs. During the Assessment session we conduct the following : Postural screening, Balance Testing, Flexibility Testing, Core Endurance and Muscle Strength Testing. Based on the results of the tests, your medical/injury history and in consultation with you we develop the program goals from which we can then develop in individualised program to achieve your goals. Duration approx. 45 min.
Private Studio Session, duration 55 min. Private Pilates sessions enable the highest level of supervision and guidance from your instructor. The first session after an Initial Assessment will generally be a Private Studio Session in order to learn how to engage the core musculature, learn important Pilates and movement concepts, learn how to use the equipment safely, and introduce you to your individualised program. After the Initial Private Studio Sessions you can opt to continue Private sessions or progress into a Duet Studio Session.
Duet Studio Session, duration 55 min. Duet Studio sessions also enable a very high level of supervision and guidance from your instructor. The instructor will work with two participants within the session. A great way of getting a high level of interaction with the instructor.
Small Group Studio Session, duration 55 min. Once you have an understanding of how to perform the technique correctly and effectively you can opt to join the Small Group Sessions, where the instructor will work with a small group of individuals (maximum of 4) with their individual programs.
Re-Assessment : After approximately 8-12 weeks we recommend performing a Re-Assessment to measure the progress that has been made, and modify the program accordingly. Duration approx. 30 min.

Fees – Studio Pilates Sessions
You can book in to utilize the studio for self practice once you have been attending guided sessions with us for a suitable period of time. Your instructor will be able to advise you when you are ready for this step. We recommend combining self practice sessions with at least one studio class per week to ensure you continue to progress in your Pilates practice. Self Practice sessions start from $18 per session (for a 10 Session Self-Practice Block), these sessions can be organised via reception.
